Andrew Clark has been a proud Teamster since 2005 when he joined Purolator Courier. Throughout his tenure, he has served as a Shop Steward and Recording Secretary before becoming a full-time Business Agent in April 2021.

In 2010, Andrew took on the role of Shop Steward, where he found a passion for advocating on behalf of his fellow members. Over time, his commitment to helping others grew, and in the fall of 2018, he joined the Executive Board of Local 927 as Recording Secretary.

As Recording Secretary, Andrew gained a deeper understanding of Local 927's pivotal role in supporting its members. From aiding those in need through the Good and Wellness Fund to contributing to worthy causes and sponsoring member events like Christmas parties and golf tournaments, Andrew witnessed firsthand the positive impact the union makes in the lives of its members.

In April 2021, Andrew’s dedication culminated in becoming a full-time Business Agent for Local 927. This role has allowed him to connect more personally with the membership, advocating for members through contract negotiations, grievance resolutions, and simply being a supportive ear for those who need it.

In his current role, Andrew is dedicated to fostering solidarity and negotiating contracts that improve the lives of union members across these diverse sectors. He remains committed to ensuring Local 927 continues to serve its membership with excellence.

Kevin proudly serves as the first full-time Organizer at Teamsters Local 927, where he plays a vital role in welcoming new members and guiding them through the certification process into the Teamsters Union and the labor movement.

Kevin’s journey began at UPS in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, in August 2012. In 2016, he stepped up as an Alternate Steward, demonstrating his dedication to his colleagues. By 2020, Kevin became Chief Steward for the UPS Teamsters within Local 927, solidifying his commitment to supporting and advocating for his fellow members.

Throughout his tenure, Kevin has gained a deeper understanding of Local 927's pivotal role in supporting its members. From aiding those in need through the Good and Wellness Fund to contributing to worthy causes, he has witnessed firsthand the positive impact the union makes in the lives of its members.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kevin enjoys spending quality time with his son above all else. In his downtime, he indulges in his passion for gaming, making it a shared interest with his son.

Kevin is dedicated to fostering growth and solidarity within Local 927, helping build a stronger union for all members through active organizing and steadfast representation.

Mark Pelkey serves as Vice-President and Business Agent for Teamsters Local 927, where he works tirelessly to support and advocate for the union’s membership. Mark’s journey with the Teamsters began in May 2012 when he started his career at UPS in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

In 2022, Mark became Chief Steward for the UPS Teamsters within Local 927, a role that allowed him to stand up for his colleagues and ensure their voices were heard. His leadership and commitment to the union’s values culminated in November 2024 when he transitioned into his full-time role as Business Agent.

Mark is dedicated to fostering solidarity, handling complex grievances, and negotiating contracts that improve the lives of union members across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI. He oversees a diverse portfolio of industries, ranging from armored services to major regional cooperatives and specialized pipeline projects.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Mark has a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he’s hunting or exploring nature, he finds peace and purpose in connecting with the natural world.

Mark remains committed to the growth and prosperity of Local 927, working every day to strengthen the union for its members and their families.

Biography
Teamster Since: May 2024

Bradley Wood began his journey with Teamsters Local 927 in May of 2024. A graduate of Acadia University in Wolfville, Bradley brings a disciplined and analytical approach to his work, shaped by his academic background in the Annapolis Valley.

In addition to his administrative duties, Bradley serves as the Local’s Bookkeeper. In this pivotal role, he is responsible for the diligent management of the union’s financial records along with the Secretary-Treasurer, ensuring transparency and fiscal accountability for the membership.

His dual focus on member advocacy and administrative precision makes him a versatile asset to the Local 927 team. As Titan Administrator, he manages the specialized systems essential to the union's daily operations.

Since joining the Local, Bradley has focused on building meaningful connections with the membership and understanding the unique challenges faced by workers in today’s economic landscape. He remains committed to ensuring the Local thrives and continues to serve its members with excellence.

The Importance of the Executive Board
The Executive Board serves as the democratic backbone of Local 927. Elected by the membership to serve a four-year term, these officers are entrusted with the fiduciary and strategic leadership of the union. Their role is to ensure financial transparency, uphold the International Constitution and Local Bylaws, and set the course for successful contract negotiations and member representation. As the governing body, the Board transforms the collective will of the members into decisive action.
