andrew clark

business agent
former recording secretary

Andrew Clark has been a proud Teamster since 2005 when he joined Purolator Courier. Entering the world of unionized work for the first time, Andrew quickly embraced the values and collective strength that come with union membership.

In 2010, Andrew took on the role of Shop Steward, where he found a passion for advocating on behalf of his fellow members. Over time, his commitment to helping others grew, and in the fall of 2018, he joined the Executive Board of Local 927 as Recording Secretary.

As Recording Secretary, Andrew gained a deeper understanding of Local 927’s pivotal role in supporting its members. From aiding those in need through the Good and Wellness Fund to contributing to worthy causes and sponsoring member events like Christmas parties and golf tournaments, Andrew witnessed firsthand the positive impact the union makes in the lives of its members.

In April 2021, Andrew’s dedication culminated in becoming a full-time Business Agent for Local 927. This role has allowed him to connect more personally with the membership, advocating for members through contract negotiations, grievance resolutions, and simply being a supportive ear for those who need it. For Andrew, the ability to make a difference, no matter how small, brings immense satisfaction.

As he looks to the future, Andrew remains committed to ensuring Local 927 thrives and continues to serve its membership with excellence.
