GFL Debert, NS Class 1 Drivers Deliver a Perfect 100% Vote for Certification

DEBERT, NS – In a massive show of solidarity, Class 1 truck drivers at the GFL Environmental facility in Debert have voted unanimously to certify with the Teamsters. The ballot resulted in 100% of eligible voters casting their support in favor of joining.

This decisive victory marks a new chapter for the Debert team. By voting to organize, these skilled drivers have taken control of their workplace standards, ensuring they have the representation and respect they deserve on the job.

The Debert facility is a key hub for liquid and special waste operations in Nova Scotia. We are thrilled to welcome this dedicated group of professionals to our growing membership.

By joining Teamsters Local 927, the Debert drivers become part of a powerful network that represents thousands of workers in Nova Scotia and over 125,000 across Canada.
